Libraries

The Interdepartmental Library of Odontostomatological Sciences and Sense Organs is the reference library for the Department of Odontostomatological and Maxillofacial Sciences and for the Department of Sense Organs. Its institutional function is to promote study, research, and further learning in the fields of its specific disciplines. For this reason, it boasts a large collection of paper and electronic journals in the fields of dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, otorhinolaryngology, audiology, phoniatrics and ophthalmological science. In addition, the Library has a specialised historical collection at the Otorhinolaryngology location and a valuable bibliographic collection consisting of several ancient texts and rare monographs from prior to 1830 at the Ophthalmology location.

The Library catalog is present in the ACNP (National Collective Archive of Periodicals) and in the SBN (national library system) and adheres to the NILDE circuit (network inter-library document exchange).
